I'm pleased to say that Jar of Marbles III: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be returning this Halloween season on iOS and Android devices.
This year the game has received a major overhaul with some of the following updates: * You can lose. Dropping marbles out of the jar results in a lost skull. Lose 3 and you must restart. Player feedback was that it was too easy to cheat simply by dropping marbles until you got the one you wanted. * The time bonus is gone. There is no more time pressure from un-timed game play. * There are a limited number of marbles. Running out of marbles ends the game. Player feedback was that the game could be boring because you never lose. Losing makes winning feel that much better. * The Power Wheel is gone. This destroyed marbles in the jar and shorted the game play. Player feedback was: We don't like the power wheel. We want to play. * Bombs/Lightning/Fire is too powerful. These have all been tweaked. * Match 5 (or more) gives you a Match 5 coin. This is what you can use to by bombs/lightning/fire/extra marbles. There is no more in-game purchase for these types of items. It's a reward for good play, and if you have to earn a Bomb it's more fun to use it. * Localization: Prior releases were English only. Sleepy Hollow has now been localized into 10 languages. * Full new artwork throughout the game * Read the story page. Rather than scrolling around through maps, you may read the story in one location as you progress through it. * Old Man Irving does not go to sleep. Instead, the first 6 levels are available for you to try for free. Afterwards, a modest cost of $4.99 unlocks the entire rest of the game. No adversiting, no nickle and diming customers. Try it and if you like it, please consider supporting us. If you don't like it, we'd love the feedback at [email protected] so we can improve things in the future. * A change in Age Restriction: With new times comes new rules. Sleepy Hollow references the violence of the Hessian losing his head to a cannon ball during a war, and a visual reference to beer in one of the puzzles. This gives the game a new rating of Teen 13+. Happy Haunting Reef Defense has gone live on Steam, with full support for the Steam Deck. We're very excited to bring this game to life once again and truly hope everyone enjoys playing it as much as we had creating it.
Get ready to defend your reef! Fish vs. Crabs is evolving and will now be known as Reef Defense. We're gearing up for a re-release and wanted to let you know that this new name better highlights the thrilling tower defense action you'll be diving into.
